Another day at SEMA, another wild project car pops into your feed. This one is the Alchemy Sorcerer XS, yet another restomoded classic Ford Bronco that wants some of your hard-earned dollars. This particular Bronco has the distinction of being qualified as the "world's first production super Bronco" by its creator, Alchemy.

I must say, this one is particularly intriguing due mostly to the way it looks with its ultra-wide fenders, which I'll get back to in a bit. It's also powered by Ford's almighty Megazilla crate engine. On its one-page website, Alchemy shows us what to expect from this rig, as well as two upcoming models, the four-door XL and XT pickup. Here's the full rundown.

But the images of an unfinished project car has us asking questions.

The main attraction on the Sorcerer XS is its all-steel wide body built in collaboration with Dennis Carpenter, a well-known supplier of old Ford restoration parts, including body panels. It gives the two-door Bronco a stubbier, wider and more aggressive stance. Alchemy then designed and 3D-printed a new grille, fender flares and fender vents to complete the package. It must be said, this thing looks absolutely epic.

The XS is obviously based on a two-door, 93-inch wheelbase Ford Bronco. The XL and XT ride on the longer 124-inch setup and come with the addition of middle-row Recaro seats, as well as a fold-and-tumble rear bench and what Alchemy calls a "family roll cage". All models come with 8-way power adjustable Recaro seats, a fully custom-made leather interior, power windows and locks as well as a remote starter.

To power the Super Bronco, Alchemy called upon one of Ford's most powerful crate engines, the naturally aspirated 7.3-liter Megazilla V8. Originally built for Super Duty trucks, this behemoth of internal combustion pumps out a whopping 612 horsepower and 670 lb-ft of torque. In the Sorcerer, it's mated to Ford's 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission.

There's more to enhance the Super Bronco's off-road capability, too. The wider body and extra power call for more chassis rigidity, so the Sorcerer was built on a custom "1-Ton" Kincer-supplied chassis with wider, extreme duty axles. There's a Ford push-button transfer case, TrueTrac differentials, as well as a semi-active suspension with manual, in-cabin adjustments.

Of course, restomods don't have the habit of being cheap, and the Alchemy Sorcerer XS is no exception. Expect to pay a $397,000 starting price for the kickass two-door model you're seeing here, a staggering $469,000 for the XL four-door variant and a mind-blowing $487,000 for the four-door truck. Oh, and these prices come with an asterisk reminding you that they are, and I quote, "Exclusive Pricing for Alchemy's First 12 Visionaries." So expect to pay even more if you're late to the party. Alchemy says delivery of all versions will begin sometime next year.
